ok

From your description I was expecting it to totally suck ass, lool. But it was not bad at all, just needs some more variation.

Looks like you have a lot of tracks under your belt too, there was def some good stuff in there.

Keep at it! =)

DJ-DaVinster responds:

Thanks for the review! I think I'm going to start a Symphonic Gabber series. It'll be good, don't worry. :)

Now This

This i enjoyed a lot, great instruments, great beat, very well made.

You have a great sound, would love to hear more.

p4c responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I actually made all of the instruments xcept for the drums with one synth, distorted like crazy, and it sounded pretty cool.

Alright

It has a great sound and I was really trying to get into it, but there seems to be a real lack of flow.

If you to work on that a bit this track would be awesome IMHO.

Keep on rockin it.

p4c responds:

i c. I basically worked on this song over the course of a few hours, and i probably could improve on that aspect. I'll be sure to keep that in mind :)

Great remix

I personally loved the drums, sounded like some breakcore action. All the elements meshed together very nicely.

Keep up the good work!

Well done

Enjoyed this one, very well composed. Def would fit perfect in a rpg.

Might want to even out the volume on your instruments, I see what you were going for but some seemed to hit too hard.

Keep up the good work =)

Mataro responds:

Actually, I've been told that it would fit an rpg, it's funny you should say that. This was really me just fiddling around, I was just going with a general concept of 'Unique', and I wasn't really too worried about it. This was mainly something to clear my mind, but I'm happy to hear you like it! This definitely could fit in an rpg as battle music of some sort, I'll swing by your page, I hope you'll return for my next song. :D

BRILLIANT

Man, amazing job, this is better then 90% of the popular crap i've heard the past 10 years, lol.

I also always learn a thing or two listening to your music, thank you =)

cornandbeans responds:

hehe.. thanks :D

I agree with you, though. Mainstream music has been absolute shit since the late 90's... Of course there are a few gems in there, but for the most part... yea.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you got to learn something. :)

Wow

I don't often get knocked out by a song, this one def did the job! Very soothing and relaxing at the begining and has a great build up . Also exellent choice of instruments. Great work!

LimblessAvenger responds:

i thank thee kindly.

Great variation

You got a nice sound going there, this song reminded me a bit of the nes Zelda dungeon music, hehe.

Pretty cool

Keep at it, sounds like you have a good head start, then paragonx9 might be asking you for tips.

Very cool

That got my head nodding, it also has great structure.

As for suggestions, I would say to maybe add some volume and or cutoff automation to make the different elements mesh/flow better together. Might also suggest putting some more compression on the kick and cutting off the low end and raising the high end of the hats if u didnt already, i can't tell with these crappy headphones =).

Swift-Reason responds:

thank you! yes, you are definitely right about what you said. those are good ideas that i will be working on. i didn't even think about the compression thing. thanks for taking the time to review it.
